It’s Tree Langdon from Medium and Linked In.
Here’s A New Word, An Idea, and A Question.
A New Word
This is where I share a word that really should exist, one that should be in the dictionary.
Bluzy
: Bluzy is what you are when you are pretending to be busy but are actually feeling blue.
// I am sorry I cannot attend your party, I am bluzy that day.
Places of usage: When you are crying in bed, from a broken heart, or corona-induced lockdown, or, well, just being annoyed with the managerie.
An Idea
A writing practice can be exhausting.
If you use iteration to create experiments, you’re feeding your writing mind. But your writing heart can become discouraged and, well, bluzy.
Here are some ways to feed your bluzy writing heart:
Don’t pile guilt on top of a failure. Shit happens; accept it, learn what you can, and move on.
Honor your current reality or situation. Know that writing and life are both important in your life, and you need to honor both.
Make room for both things and be flexible. Trust that sometimes you need to write more, and sometimes you need to support your life more.
Keep asking “how.” Don’t panic. Instead of telling yourself that you failed or you can’t, just ask yourself how. Keep looking toward the solution, and it will come to you.
Resistance gives you direction. It can show you important topics or projects that you need to pay attention to. Resistance often comes from fear, and there is growth when you move toward things you fear.
There is no wall.
A Question
What do you do to feed your bluzy writing heart? I’d love to know more.

Nice one Tree. Sometimes I've felt stuck and had the thought "why me?". I think this post describes my feelings perfectly
Tree,
I love this last line! "Resistance often comes from fear, and there is growth when you move toward things you fear."
Really enjoy your words that should be :)
