We gather golden fragments.
Collect the pieces of thoughts
made of rough-hewn wood
and polished stone.
Words inscribed on papers
made of leaves.
Arranged
so they speak to you
in whispers softly through
the layers intertwined.
Colors combine.
They build a new reality
that spirals in
to the center of meaning.
Creating the whole
out of pieces
you collected
from the musings
of your mind.
The pieces in a collage can represent how your mind jumps and moves from one thought to the next, some related, some not, until you circle back to where you began.
