Life-Altering Moments: Were You Aware When They Happened?

I’ve been reflecting on four defining moments in my life, each of which significantly altered my path.

These instances range from a random text to a friend during a hurricane, standing firm against an unhealthy relationship, gaining clarity about what I wanted in a partner, and asking for signs from angels.

Each moment underscored the importance of listening to my intuition and taking charge of my life.

The Power of Intuition

On instinct, I once sent my cell number to a friend who was directly in the path of a hurricane in Puerto Rico. Phone lines were overloaded there but not here in Canada where I live.

I became his only connection with the outside world for 24 hours. This experience reinforced the significance of trusting your hunches.

Standing Firm Against Toxicity

I wrote a story called 'The Magic Scarf' that describes my struggle to resist being pulled back into an unhealthy relationship.

If I had returned, I know I would have lost my courage to write. It’s crucial to stand your ground or you can lose yourself.

Clarity About Desires

Focusing on what I didn't want led me into repetitive cycles of shitty relationships. I shifted focus onto what I did want and that brought healthier dynamics into my life.

We attract what we ask for. Sometimes we attract what we don’t want if we focus too much on negative things.

Belief Without Proof

I didn’t believe in angels. But I asked for proof.

Then I found an Angel in a restaurant parking lot. Belief sometimes requires visible evidence, at least it did for me. Now I try to believe.
