**Making Pie Tee Shells**: These are made using a metal mold on a stick dipped in batter and then deep-fried in oil. Despite being tricky to prepare they're worth every effort as your guests will marvel at your impressive Nyonya cooking skills.
**The Filling**: Ingredients include yam beans shredded carrots egg crepes fresh or dried prawns finely chopped garlic shallot among others depending on what you have available but must be thinly sliced.
