Life can be tough, so I wanted to celebrate a few wins with you this week.
Here goes:
Personally,
The hummingbirds are back at the feeder this week,
We made it back from Malaysia,
My mom got a private room (finally) at the long-term care home she’s in.
Professionally, here are 2 things I’m excited about
I finally was able to get my hands on actual copies of my book, We Swallow Light.
I’m practicing self-care and immersing myself in a new course (more on that later).
Now it’s your turn!
Go to the comments and let me know something in life that you’re excited about as we come into a new season. Anything goes, large or small. It’s important to celebrate the wins in our lives.
Truly! I want to know. Reply to this email if you’d prefer to keep it just between us.
I can’t wait to hear from you.
Hummingbirds are special. 😊 Wins too. Started my Substack about a month ago - here's a link to first of several posts - that was a win. https://joeluca.substack.com/p/america-vs-old-people-whats-up-with
Cheers!
Congratulations on The Swallow Light!
I'm smiling as I work my way through a fresh set of comments from my beta reader. It's a true labour of love to see the world you've created through someone else's eyes.
I have also set up a new Substack (https://plottedout.substack.com/) and I am so excited about the newsletter topic - it's a blend of fantasy, humour and sarcasm. I'm also committing to a weekly short story and this week's one is shaping up nicely about a cursed surfboard.
