I'm full of ideas - and over the years have collected many, many inspirational clippings and notes. I keep them in a box! I also have a separate word document titled: 'Potential Stories' which more or less keeps me on the move. I am currently thinking about writing an article about 'my box'. I have a unique newspaper photo of me holding up lots of the clippings that's a story in itself ... but I crumpled it in the laminator. My wife is currently trying to iron it flat !!!
Tree - you were instrumental in getting me going (properly) when I first started on Medium in late 2020. I still keep my first email to you (at treemillie) dated 31/12/20 to which you responded with good advice in emails dated 1/1/21. You may recall that Canadian New Year came hours later than mine here in Australia!
As an older guy (vastly experienced, but late into writing) you helped me greatly and I seem to be going well (14 published now - and everyone accepted immediately by Dr. Mehmet for ILLUMINATION). I find the 'Medium community' very helpful. People like yourself, Dr. M and Liam Ireland, are treasures in my mind.
