It’s Tree Langdon from Medium and Linked In.
As promised, here’s A New Word, An Idea, and A Question.
A New Word
This is where I share a word that really should exist, one that should be in the dictionary.
Hiberluctance
Definition of hiberluctance
: the absolute dread of getting out of bed on a frosty morning.
: how you feel when it’s time to get up and you’re in the middle of a great dream.
// I lay there in a state of hiberluctance, contemplating the day to come.
// He was hiberluctant like a bear trying to rouse itself from a winter’s sleep.
An Idea
We are waking up.
Looking ahead, the next few years (2022 to 2024) are promising to be quantum leap years. When we look back, we will be amazed at the changes that occurred during this time.
There’s been an acceleration in world events. People are waking up to realities in society and pushing for societal change.
There’s been a real disconnect between societal rules and how people feel. We’ve had some time to contemplate and many more people are listening to their feelings and thoughts. How we see and feel things have shifted.
We’ve been trained that we don’t have power or influence over what is going on but this period will break open these beliefs. It’s already starting to happen.
How we think and feel will help recreate a map of the world. What we think influences how we act.
Unlikely events will bring out unlikely sides of us. We may become angry and frustrated. We may act out in ways that are unexpected for us. Find ways to release those emotions without damaging relationships.
Unresolved emotions can get stuck in our bodies and cause us problems with our physical and mental health.
Let the feelings flow through you, even if they are uncomfortable.
“Emotion is energy in motion”. Neale Donald Walsch
A Question
How have you released (or held) your emotions in the past?
Do you plan to change what you do when you feel energy rising in your body?

I think you learn to manage your emotions better as you get older. That's certainly been my experience. The older and more experienced I've grown, the better I've become at understanding and managing emotion - Mine and other people's.
If energy is rising within you, try and recognise it and turn it into something positive.
The past two years have taught me to roll with the punches. I remind myself each time sh*t goes down that I will get through the situation. It could also be the constant three steps forward one step back that primed me to not get overly affected by obstacles.
And yea, I sleep so much earlier now with the sunsets at 4.30 pm. But I still get pretty much the same amount of rest overall, meaning that I wake up earlier, too.
